Akhand Kirtani Jatha is a Panthic body dedicated to the promotion of Tat-Gurmat, Khalsa Rahit, and GurSikhi Jivan. The primary aim of the Jatha is to propagate the message of the Sikh Guru Sahibans, through Gurmat Diwans, Smagams, Akhand Patths, and Amrit Sanchaars.
The Jatha encourages the GurSikhi lifestyle through spiritual progression, rehat, bibek, and truthful living. It organizes Gurmat Smagams, Kirtan, and Youth activities under the coordination of local Sangat in Punjab, Europe, and Canada, US, and other parts of the world.
The Jatha fully endorses the concept of Miri-Piri, and encourages participation in Panthic endeavors, as exemplified by Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh Ji, Shaheed Bhai Fauja Singh Ji, Shaheed Bhai Anokh Singh Ji and many others.
The Jatha is an inseparable part of the Khalsa Panth under the sovereign umbrella of Siri Akal Takht Sahib Ji - the supreme authority of the Sikhs. It does not have any monastery or dera, nor does it promote any type of personality worship or seperate maryada.
The Jatha holds Guru Sahib Jee and Akal Purakh Sahib as our highest teacher and spiritual guide - Whose Divine message is inscribed in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji.
